Installation of Xeiso is a simple process. Once you have downloaded a release, you may install. Xeiso requires Pyglet 1.1 to run. If you do not have Pyglet 1.1, install it, then continue here.

Note: If you installed Xeiso from the Launchpad PPA, you are done. Do not attempt to install from source with a pre-built package installed, as the versions will interfere.

cd xeiso
sudo python setup.py install

Once installed, Xeiso may be run as xeiso-ui from the system path. You will also find a Xeiso launcher in your system menu under Games. Xeiso will also automatically open any file launched that has a .xpk extension.

Now that you have Xeiso installed, you probably want some games. Xeiso will automatically connect to the Internet and attempt to find some if none are installed, but if that is not enough, read on.
